ABOUT
Martin has been working as a performer and writer since 2009 having trained at the workshop theatre in Leeds (BA Hons in Theatre & English) and then with the Le Coq based drama school LISPA. His work as a theatre maker incorporates his own projects as well as for many other companies where the devising process has often been key - helping shape work from its foundations.
He has won a number of awards as a theatre maker including Show of the Year at Vault Festival for Fat Man, BE Festivals touring award for The Collision of Things, and a Three Weeks Editors Choice Award for Keepers at the Edinburgh Fringe.

THEATRE
Extensive theatre credits include work with Simon McBurney & Complicité, international and national tours with the multi-award-winning NIE theatre, and co-created work where puppetry and ensemble music are integral. Martin has written and performed his own award-winning plays for theatres across the UK.
FILM
Recent film work includes the forthcoming feature The Retreat and an in-development project with Jack Offord and Graeme Willetts - having created the short The Search Party with the same team.
